Pink is the new Green here in our Classroom! Check our our new chart.
We recently changed our behavior system to reward those who always do the right things and to give students a chance to make better choices. Students can earn Purple for making super choices and Pink for outstanding behavior and work efforts. This is motivating us to be the best that we can be!

Our Morning Meeting is an important part of our everyday routine.

Please read below to find out more about what we do!

There is a wonderful beginning to our school day! It is our Morning Meeting, and it lasts about 15 minutes each day.

After gathering in a circle, we begin by greeting each other by name in a friendly and cheerful way.

Next, the students have a chance to share any new and exciting events/things with the class. This allows them to work on their speaking and listening skills.

The last part of our meeting is called News and Announcements. During this time, students think about the day ahead. We discuss anything that may be on their mind individually or as a class. We talk about our goals and expectations for that day. The teacher also informs students of any notices that may need a parent’s attention. The Morning Meeting is a great way to build community, increase excitement about learning, and improve academic and social skills. Please contact me if you have any questions about Morning Meeting.
