About Mrs. Bufano

                    About Mrs. Bufano

Hi! My name is Mrs. Stephanie Bufano. I am in my eleventh year of teaching at Lake Garda Elementary
School. I am thrilled to be a member of the 4th grade team!

My first year and a half at Lake Garda, I was the mathematics interventionist. I helped students
become more computationally fluent and develop a strong meaning for mathematics concepts.
In the spring of my second year, I became a long-term substitute in third grade. I taught
fourth grade for one year, third grade for three years, and this is my fifth year back in fourth
grade. I have enjoyed every minute of working in such a wonderful school district!

I hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a focus in mathematics from
Central Connecticut State University and hold a master’s degree in mathematics for elementary
educators also from CCSU.

I live in Middlefield, CT with my husband, 5 year old son (Ryan),
2 year old daughter (Angelina), and cat (Ragu).
I have been married for 10 years now. I have one younger sister, Brittany.
I enjoy relaxing in the sun, going to the beach, traveling, playing tennis, skiing, reading
mystery books, and spending time with my friends and family.
